This moisture rises through pores and capillaries, finally evaporating into the atmosphere.[/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner row_type=”row” type=”full_width” text_align=”left” css_animation=””][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]The water that comes from the subsoil contains dissolved salts. As the water evaporates, the dissolved salts crystallize and settle in the plaster, so that it degrades just like the paint.

Many methods have been tried to hide moisture, through attempts to waterproof the walls and their surface.

In the best of cases it is possible to hide the humidity temporarily, but the real consequence is the so-called “chimney effect”, which makes the humidity rise even more through the wall.

This does not solve the problem of moisture in floors and walls. On the contrary, the solution is aggravated and more expensive, due to the need to address the problem again.[/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=”transparent” up=”40″][vc_column_text el_class=”section_title medium sep_small”]

What are the main causes?

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text el_class=”block_causas”]The causes of moisture by capillarity, both in floors and in walls, are due to two natural physical principles.

1. Capillary absorption
Any liquid contained in a container will be absorbed (and ascend) by a tube that is inserted into the liquid, reaching more or less height depending on the diameter of the tube.
This phenomenon is known as “surface tension” and “contact ball” and it occurs in the same way in the walls and walls where there is an infinite network of capillaries. In this way, an ascent of the humidity is created from the floor towards the wall.

2. Electro osmosis
Electro-osmosis is defined as the movement of a liquid under the influence of an electric field, through a porous wall.
The water flows following the direction that starts from the positive pole and goes to the negative pole.
This principle was discovered more than 200 years ago by the physicist Reuss. The phenomenon occurs naturally within damp walls. The base work represents the porous diaphragm and the liquid loaded with dissolved salts constitutes the electrolyte of the battery. The potential difference between floor and walls, between 0.5 and 0.8 volts, is sufficient to keep the battery in operation.

Rehabilit part of these same principles to give a definitive solution to the problem of humidity, and thus be able to remove the humidity from the walls.[/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=”transparent” up=”40″][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”2265″ img_size=”full” qode_css_animation=””][vc_separator type=”transparent” up=”20″][vc_gallery interval=”3″ images=”1903,1905,1907,1910,1912,1914,1916,1918,1920,1922″ img_size=”full”][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_separator type=”normal” el_class=”section_sep” up=”0″ down=”0″][/vc_column][/vc_row]

[vc_row css_animation=”” row_type=”row” use_row_as_full_screen_section=”no” type=”grid” angled_section=”no” text_align=”left” background_image_as_pattern=”without_pattern” z_index=””][vc_column][vc_separator type=”normal” el_class=”section_sep” up=”0″ down=”0″][vc_column_text el_class=”section_title medium sep”] What is the cause of capillary moisture?
